On December 21st 1993, in Arroyito, province of Córdoba, Argentina, Fabop laboratories are founded by Mauro Gastón Bono with the main objective of producing and commercializing medicines.
The first investigations to obtain the certificates for specialized medicines are started and the commercial activity is initiated with the production of pharmacopoeia products.
The approval of Nuevapina 500 MG marks the launching of our first specialized medicine and the beginning of the national distribution.
We celebrate the opening of the enlarged and remodeled original plant in the city of Arroyito and focus ourselves on the launching of new medicines and the development of the sales channel to public institutions by means of a net of distributors throughout the country.
The company moves to the city of El Tío, province of Córdoba, where our first showcase plant starts to work producing solid and liquid medicines. This initiative enables us to raise our productive capacity ten times.
By the beginning of this year, now with national and international vision and scope, growth brings about an evolution of the company and so it becomes Savant Pharm.
The products we make and commercialize are now classified into three Lines of medicines. OTC, FABOP, VIATRUM. A new showcase plant is built for the production of Betalactamic antibiotics.
The company issues negotiable obligations that quote in Buenos Aires and Córdoba stock exchanges.
